As a beginner crochet, the pattern was easy to follow. I really liked how they were step-by-step pictures along with each of the steps that really helped me.

I used some Super Saver yarn to practice this while waiting for the 'good' yarn to arrive. The pattern is concise and the instructions easy to follow. The sample turned out beautifully and I'm hoping to put together a lap blanket in the near future. :)
